It just goes to show that our system of government is held hostage by the vagaries of rich white men who prop up an over 200-year-old document as the sacrosanct vision of America. Thomas Jefferson foresaw this problem and called on each generation to rewrite (not reinterpret) the document. The Supreme Court is a joke, Congress is a joke, and I wish the Executive Branck was a joke, but they seem to just be pure evil. Sadly, this now confirms in precedent everything that Jenny and I were told by the Peace Corps. You work with us and you have no freedom. I guess it is good that we found this out earlier rather than later. What is left for the good to do in this world aside from fleeing and starting over somewhere else?
