Guinness
“Guinness makes you drunk,” said Brendan Behan after he drank his barrel of stout that Guinness paid him with in exchange for the advertising slogan. The slogan is still used today. And it’s still true.
The Guinness Storehouse is worth a visit. The seven-story building is a work of art.
I dodged the large crowds and skipped most of the self-guided tour. The best part of the place is the Gravity Bar on the top floor. It’s round with walls of glass that overlook the entire city. Quotes from Ulysses and Dubliners are etched in the glass.

Great photos, I hope you had a pint! Being both a fan of Guinness and Joyce, your bottom image is perfect. It is ironic that I stumbled across your blog, as I was looking for the things etched in the glass at the gravity bar, but alas, I could not find them! And here I am stumbling acroos that very thing…

Thanks! I’m sorry it took so long to post your comment. It should have appeared automatically. I’m still learning how to do this website stuff. I hope you get to see the Gravity Bar in person some day. Slainte!
