Tiki Time
Kevin and Jenny Bartoy took us out to an awesome dinner at Trader Vic’s, a swanky tiki restaurant.

This place has everything: tikis, fruity drinks adorned with plastic figurines of naked Menahunes, and towering palm trees made out of gold lamé. And the food was exceptional.
Kevin, a famous archeologist, just accepted a position directing The Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson. You can purchase his new book Between Dirt and Discussion here.
He and Jenny will be leaving the Bay Area next month for their new home in Nashville. We miss them already. But I can’t wait to check out Nashville and all its great jazz and southern food when I visit them.
