Marked
I have been very fortunate to work with so many talented theater professionals and to experience four productions (two in New York, one in London, and one in San Francisco) and a book publication of my play, Marked.
Special thanks to Second Wind and Three Wise Monkeys, especially to Ian, Vanessa, Van, Misha, Rich, Natalie, Chris, Janice, and Jen.
Marked will make its West Coast premiere in the 8th Annual Bay One Act (BOA) Festival at The Eureka Theater in San Francisco on February 26, 2009.

In Marked, Lana fakes her death to make a point about privacy and the authorities order her son, Francis, an aspiring artist who has a thing for doctors, to take action or else Lana will be institutionalized. This dark comedy explores the connection between love, insanity, and social responsibility.
Production History:
Marked was produced in The 33rd Annual Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival and The Winter 2008 Strawberry One-Act Festival in New York. The play will make its West Coast premiere in the 8th Annual BOA Festival in San Francisco on February 26 and will make its London premiere on March 13 in the Saltburn Drama Festival. Marked was recently published in The Best Plays of the Strawberry One-Act Festival.
